Generosity 2009 Materials           

Dear Friends,

Sometimes we work so hard that we forget to stop and celebrate the good things - our joys and blessings. It can happen in our individual lives, and it may happen in our church life, as well! Did you know that as a congregation, HMPC is four and a half years old? We were born in February 2005 and we have been growing up at steady pace ever since. Think of four and a half year old children. Think of how much they change and accomplish in just a few short years. That's who we are! That's what has happened to us!

We need to thank God - we need to celebrate all that He has done with us, AND to take hold of the future He has planned. We are going to do that during our GENEROSITY 2009 "CRAZY LOVE" emphasis. Beginning October 18 for five weeks, we are going to encourage and inspire you with stories of people who have reconnected with Jesus Christ, His Church and with a new sense of purpose in your living. We are going to see the difference God's work at HMPC has made to adults, teenagers and children - how all have grown closer to God in faith, made new friends, found help in difficulties, discovered new talents, and pursued new ways of serving. It is going to be an exciting time - and maybe just a little bit crazy. You see, God has loved us with a crazy kind of love, and He wants us to be willing to be just a little crazy in loving Him.The mission of Hamilton Mill Presbyterian Church is to reconnect people to Christ, the Church Community, and God's World!
