Children's Education
At HMPC children are a vital and valued part of our congregation. To protect our children, all volunteers have passed a background screening.
Nursery Care |
Children ages birth- 24 months are cared for by our loving volunteers in the following age groups. Infants and toddlers may sign into their clases at 10:15 before worship services at 10:30. Infant Nursery (birth-12 months) |
Preschool Programs |
2 and 3 Years Class: Sign in begins at 10:15 before worship. In our preschool classes we embrace the message of "God's never ending love." We focus each week on a Bible story, Bible verse, songs, crafts, organized play through our exciting "Hands On" curriculum. 4 and 5 Years Class: Children are invited to begin in our worship service and enjoy " A Time with Young Disciples", our weekly children's sermon led by our pastor. Following this special message your children are escorted to their classes, filled with Biblical lessons, games, puppet ministry, crafts and organized play. |
School Age Programs (Kindergarten-5th) |
School Age children are invited to begin in our worship service and enjoy " A Time with Young Disciples", our weekly children's sermon led by our pastor. Following this special message your children continue their worhsip experiences in "Children's Church", our large to small group curriculum series. Every 4-5 weeks we delve into a new theme and Biblical focus, from Wilderness Adventures, Super Heroes, to Treasure Island, and others. Each theme focuses on learning Biblical lessons and how to apply them practically in each child's life. Children participate in games, skits, memorization and activities and building christian friendships amongst their peers. |
